Milan Jelesic is this year’s recipient of the City of Stirling’s 21st Annual Community Service Award for his extraordinary service to local community.
The awards recognise and reward outstanding voluntary service to the community by individuals in the areas of Community Services, Senior Citizen Services, Sport and Recreation and Youth Services. David Boothman, CEO, presented Jelesic with the award at the ceremony at the Town Hall.

City of Stirling has with this award recognized Milan’s contribution to local Stirling community over last 30 year. Milan is one of the most respected members of the Serbian community in W.A., one of the founders of the Serbia – Dianella White Eagles Football Club, inaugural member of the Serbian Chetniks Association of W.A., great contributor to both Serbian Orthodox Church parishes in Perth (St Sava and Holy Trinity) and regular participant and donor in all charity events.
