The Holy Liturgy service was held by bishop Iriney at church of Holy Trinity in Perth on Sunday 5 October 2008. He was accompanied by Archimandrite Lazar, archpriest Milorad Soaktar, father Zoran Ivanic and deacon Branko Bosancic.

Her Royal Highness Princess Elizabeth (Jelisaveta) Karageorgevich attend the service along with Lisa Scaffidi, Lord Mayor of Perth, Lepsa Stulic from the Embassy of Serbia in Canberra and many other distinguished guests. The Kornelije Stankovic Chorus from Melbourne took part in the liturgy.

It was a great pleasure to have the visitors to this year’s Karageorge Cup 2008 (organized by the Serbian Community Centre for W.A. Inc.) including FC Slavija, dear guests from Istocno Sarajevo, Republic Srpska.

Bishop Iriney has announced on this occasion that archpriest Milorad Soaktar is taking the duty of the Chancellor of the Diocese. Also bishop Iriney ordained father Zoran Ivanic a prota.
