Foundation Divac (www.fondacijadivac.org) has organized a very successful fundraising at the Serbian Community Center of WA in Maddington WA. The event is organized together with the Metropolitanate of the Serbian Orthodox Church of Australia and New Zealand, and Fr Sasa Stojanovic was in charge of leading the organization and program for this successful event. Total amount collected for the Divac Foundation is $27,820. All expenses are separately covered by St Sava Church ($5,400) and Holy Trinity Church ($1,600).

The day later on Sunday, the Holy Liturgy service was held at Holy Trinity Church by bishop Irinej, deacon Syluan and Fr Milorad Soaktar. After the Liturgy, the lunch was organized for all guests in refurbished Church Hall. Vlade Divac, the basketball legend, was the special guest that presented the objectives and achievements of the Foundation Divac. The parishers have only within 30 minutes collected additional $4,000 in donations that were submitted to the Foundation Divac!
