Mala Remeta is a village in Serbia. It is situated in the Irig municipality, in the Srem District, Vojvodina province.
The Mala Remeta Monastery is a Serb Orthodox monastery on the Fruska Gora mountain in the northern Serbia. Its foundation is traditionally ascribed to the Serbian King Dragutin (1276-1282). The earliest historical records relating to the monastery date back to the middle of the 16th century.
Mala Remeta Monastery was declared Monument of Culture of Exceptional Importance in 1990, and it is protected by Republic of Serbia.
The refurbishment of the monestary requires additional funding and all donations are welcome.
