Silent Moves is a collection of images by Perth photographer Nik Babic.
It marks his first solo exhibition and focuses on the works created through collaboration with local and international dancers and musicians.
Building upon the wealth of performing experience of his own, Nik offers a point of view that is creative and unique, showcasing the artists in a light never seen before.
You are all invited to official opening ceremony at 01:45pm (for 2:00pm start) on Sunday 23 February 2014.

Nik Babic
Freelance performing arts photographer – Perth, Australia.
Nik’s photography is about the stage and the people around it.
He became involved with photography having over fifteen years of professional performing experience, which made his focus on performing arts hardly a surprise and a very familiar territory.
Nik holds a masters degree in music and has, as a violist, performed with orchestras in Europe, U.S., Asia and most Australian symphony orchestras. He has been a full time member of the West Australian Symphony Orchestra since 2002.
As a photographer, over the past few years Nik’s images have appeared on the walls of the Western Australian Museum, Perth Centre for Photography, Perth Town Hall, Melbourne’s Eleven40 gallery and Mechanics Institute in Ballarat.
Various photos have been published in The Australian and The West Australian newspapers, magazines such as the Gramophone (UK), Limelight and Scoop and have appeared on the cover of the Sunday Times Magazine.
Recently, Nik received two silver awards from the Australian Institute of Professional Photography and have been chosen finalist in both “Kiss My Camera” music photography competition and “Take a Bow” performance photography competition as part of The Ballarat International Photo Biennale.
Since 2013 Nik is a fully accredited member of the AIPP.
Over the years Nik has always supported the Serbian community events in Perth and has volunteered in organization and performed at Tesla Day and recent 2013 Metropolitanate Day celebrations and on other occasions.
